About Me
I'm Ethan Hsu, I study Computer Science at Stanford University and dabble in Design and Classics too. I engage with the Robotics Club, Computational Policy Lab, Stanford AI Lab (SAIL), and the Stanford NLP Group.
Select Research & Projects
- Sept 2024. I'm happy to be leading my own project related to LLM agents for workflow automation under the mentorship of Chris Manning and Shikhar Murty.
- June 2024. I spent time under the mentorship of Cheryl Phelps at the Stanford Computational Policy lab and Big Local News, where I developed a self-supervised document ranking algorithm, implemented a full-stack recommendation application.
- Apr 2024. Proud to have worked with Ivan Ge and Hong Meng Yam on a Hybrid Neural Network-Monte Carlo Approach for Efficient PDE Solvers.
- Winter 2024. Speech2LaTex | A Deep Learning Model for Speech to LaTeX Translation. My First ever ML Project! Created a two-step NLP algorithm enhancing accuracy in translating mathematical speech to LaTeX utilizing GPT-3.5 turbo fine-tuned on a comprehensive dataset of audio-LaTeX pairs.
